Almost Done!

I am almost done with my swap apron, I finished my shift at work, last night came home had a quick meal and then I went to work on the apron, I had purchase some beautiful fabric from this quilt shop called Creations in Kerrville Texas, they had a lot apron's made in many fabrics, which was so inspiring, what's funny is that I just purchase the fabric, and then I happen to get n email about the swap so I decide why not, go for it, as I was working through the night to get most of this apron done, I will be finished tonight, what I am liking on this project is that is it making me sew and finish a project,  I am down last steps, and I have spotted a few tuck-ins the that will be fun to get!

Unfinshed Projects

With the start of the new year, I have been going through my  stash of projects, my sewing goals this year are to finish what I start, a lot of my projects are about 75 percent done, many unfinished projects would only take a couple of hours each to complete, whats up with me ha!  So I am going to make a list, ( I wonder how long that gonna take me)............anyway I need help, so if  and when I get few follower's, please ask me about my list and challenge me to finish!  Cheers!

Road trip

What a great adventure I had today, went on a road trip to Kerrville Texas and went to a wonderful quilt shop called Creations!  When we first walked in to the shop we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the fabrics and the Quilts.  Amazing colors and textures of cotton and silk fabrics.  I am proud member of the American Sewing Guild, so the chapter that I am in planned this trip, the Guild has ladies with all type of experience in sewing, quilting knitting and many from of crafting, some of the members along with me are working on a mystery quilt, so going to Creations was the best today.
